WASHINGTON D.C. - While speaking to Wolf Blitzer, Mitt Romney wasted no time taking President Obama to task on a comment Obama made this week.
"I'm very concerned," said Romney from his fallout shelter, "that the President asked Soviet dictator Medvedev for some space with regard to missile defense.
"We all know that the U.S.S.R. is our number one geopolitical foe. You can't cave into these reds. The next thing you know, they'll be pointing missiles at our backyard from Cuba or even Miami."
When Blitzer pointed out that foes such as Iran or North Korea might actually be more 21st-century in nature rather than mid 20th-century, Romney did not back down.
"It's high time the Soviet Union allowed sovereignty to their many republics as well as the countries of Eastern Europe."
When Blitzer asked Romney what he would ask of Medvedev, he replied, "Mr. Medvedev, tear down the Berlin Wall."
