Romney: "Turn on the green light, the man wants a green suit!"

The Associated Press is reporting this morning that a leaked internal memo from Mitt Romney to his campaign staff instructs them to…"Turn on the green light, the man wants a green suit!"

The saying is evidently an old saying from the men's clothing stores on Maxwell Street in Chicago. The stores were known for high pressure tactics and their ability to never let anyone out of a store without making a sale. Their sales tactics were legend.

Romney continued: "and if I find out who spread the rumor that I was touring Florida with Gov. Christie in a cage on the top of the car, I will personally call you a Poopy Pants in public. And one more thing, I want you to start to mention in every interview that you do that I am a severely regular guy!"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
