Kelly Clarkson cannot believe the backlash she has received after stating she would vote for Ron Paul for President.

WEST HOLLYWOOD - Popular songstress Kelly Clarkson has stated that she cannot believe the mean-spirited comments and remarks that she has been receiving on Twitter from individuals who lashed out at her for her remarks in support of GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul.

Clarkson speaking at a The Enormous Enchilada Restaurant in West Hollywood told iRumors reporter Vodka Vermicelli that she has never before seen some of the hate-filled and mean-streaked words that she has been subjected to.

She showed Miss Vermicelli several of the more tamer tweets. One was from Mintola Dotpeemer who said that she would not vote for that museum relic Ron Paul if he was running against Kathy "The Red Bitch" Griffin.

Another identified as Marmaduke P. Shillbilly said that Ron Paul is so old he remembers when the Grand Canyon was simply known as the Little Canyon and when the Three Stooges were actually the Two Stooges.

And yet another individual who simply referred to himself as Cousin Cletis said that Ron Paul is so old he actually dated Mrs. Abraham Lincoln before she married old "Honest Abe."

Clarkson said that she really does not appreciate several people comparing her to country singer Wynonna Judd adding that Judd is a red head, a lot fatter, and has one of the most sarcastically arrogant personalities in the music business next to Kanye West.

Kelly says that she now sees why artists like Taylor Swift, George Straight, and Carrie Underwood never, ever mention politics, religion, or sports.

She said that she should have realized what a mistake it can be to talk about politics when Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks made her anti-George Bush remark back in 2003, and that foot-in-the-mouth remark ended their music career real pronto (fast) as Roy Roger's sidekick Gabby Hayes used to say.

So Clarkson says she's learned her lesson. She said that it is just not worth it to make a remark, which is her right to do so, if it is going to get a lot of folks danders up and cause them to go all Mel Gibson on her.

Vermicelli asked Texas native Kelly if she preferred the Dallas Cowboys or the Houston Texans. She smiled as she took a sip of her Big Red Zero Soda and said, "Hey girl, I ain't sayin' and a herd of Texas panhandle wild horses will not drag it outta me."

Kelly Clarkson will turn 30, on April 24, 2012, which also happens to be National Wireless Mouse Day.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
