Washington--Rick Perry is denying rumors that he was drunk or high when he spoke to some rich Republicans in Manchester, NH, on Friday.
"I was not high, I was just high on life. I feel I am making a comeback in the polls, as 9-9-9er is doing a nose dive, and Mitt "Wheres my Flip-Flops" Romney can't seem to make a coherent statement. So, the Rick Perry you saw on Friday was the guy that wants to be your president."
Rick Perry also denied rumors he did shots over lunch with his Hooters' waitresses.
"I did have lunch at Hooters on Friday, and yes, I did have a drink, but it was apple juice. It wasn't whiskey, like some in the media are reporting.
Rush Limbaugh jumped all over the media like it was OxyContton because he didn't like the story, and said: "This is just another example of the liberal media trying to find the weakest candidate to face the "Birth Certificateless" Obama. When are people going to wake up and see they are being duped by the media."
