An extremely annoyed customer has sued his barber after his head was completely shaved.
Bob Russell, of Portsmouth NH says he did not ask for his head to be shaved. The barber could also face criminal charges of assault.
Russell, 65, explained ''I went to my usual barber, I have been going to the same place for more than ten years now, anyway, I decided on a change of style so I asked the barber if he could give me a haircut like Kirk Douglas, I was a big fan you see. Anyway, it had been a long day and I fell asleep in the chair, when I woke up I was completely bald, he had shaved my head completely. I was furious.''
John Staples, 72, a barber for more than 55 years claims he did nothing wrong.
''Look, he came in and asked for a Kirk Douglas, so I shaved his head as requested, I have no idea why he is so hot under the collar. I did what he asked. ''
I asked Mr. Staples if he knew who Kirk Douglas was.
''I should do'' he replied ''I have seen the King and I 15 times''
After concluding our interview Mr. Staples said he had to rush home, as he did not want to miss his favorite movie, ''One flew over the cuckoo's nest'' starring his favorite actor Henry Fonda.
