A Muslim woman is suing the people of the United States of America after enduring three years of totally ridiculous stereotyping and constant allegations that she is a terrorist, the Washington Times reported early Thursday.
Sarammu Alhibbi Assabah Jackson, a U.S. citizen who converted to Islam several years ago, for the sole reason of eventually being able to pursue a law suit for discrimination, claims she has faced bigotory, personal attacks on her character, intimidation from law enforcement agencies and rude comments from her fellow Americans.
Jackson said "I am sick of tired of this. It is about time I did something, I have rights, just because I wear a hijab everyone assumes I am a terrorist, every time I go out in public I am accused of being a terrorist. It is quite upseting when mothers shield their children when I walk by."
However some friends of the woman say she deliberately attracts attention to herself and has deliberately set out to obtain financial gain for her perceived slights.
A friend, who did not give her name, said ''Look, she says she is a Muslim but she does not ever practice Islam, she just wears the clothes and walks around deliberately acting suspicious. For example last week she was walking round the grocery store just picking up vegetables and fruit, then looking around the place before putting it back. She always slams down her phone whenever someone passes by her, it is all a big act. I cannot believe they are going to pay her millions for this.''
Civil liberties attorney James Whatsmycut and representatives of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who filed the lawsuit on Jackson's behalf, say that they are seeking $10,000,000 in damages, which will be paid from funds set aside for health care for childen and sick puppies.
