As speculation runs rife and Britain's tabloid press outbid each other in offering huge rewards as to the identity of the mysterious 'Mystery Blonde' - who has been spotted at several English locations in the last day - singer and rhyming slang star James Blunt has speculated that his biggest hit 'You're Beautiful' could offer an answer.
"From what I've read and heard from Jense [Button] and Seb [Vettel], this mystery blonde sounds a dead ringer for the lady who inspired my song" said James today.
According to the former army officer who served in Kosovo, the blonde muse behind his worldwide ditty was "An angel. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful - it's true."
He saw the mystery blonde, who smiled at him on a crowded London Underground, almost ten years ago, but she was with another man. "I didn't lose any sleep that night because I had a plan" he says. "At least that's what I told the Transport police when she made a complaint."
Blunt never saw the mystery blonde again but still remembers her wearing an Armani jacket, a little black dress, no knickers and Jimmy Choo heels.
"I don't think they were Loboutin." he says. "Mind you, it was 2005 and I was f*cking high."
The net closes in on the Mystery Blonde... Who IS she?!
