As gentle drizzle sporadically rained down on Silverstone this afternoon, German F1 ace, Sebastian Vettel, alarmingly for Red Bull, almost lost it taking Stow Corner.
Eye witnesses stated that Vettel appeared to momentarily lose control, before recovering and going on to take second place behind team mate Mark Webber.
It's unclear exactly what caused Vettel's momentary glitch, but a Red Bull pit crew member revealed that Vettel had probably been distracted after seeing a mystery blonde woman in the grandstand. This seems to have been confirmed by Vettel's helmet-cam.
"There was a mystery blonde woman in the helmet-cam streaming," the pit crew member confirmed. "She was in the grandstand, and for a split second, Sebastian's helmet-cam focused on her, suggesting that she was the cause of the distraction. Having replayed the shots, I can understand why Sebastian may have become distracted. She was a stunningly beautiful woman, dressed in an Armani jacket, a little black dress, and Loboutin heels. Unlike the other spectators, she appeared impassive, aloof, distant. She was like an angel, or a Goddess or something. Well, Sebastian's a red blooded male, and he drives for Red Bull, so I guess it's only to be expected. No harm done though."
The mystery blonde mystery takes another twist. Where will it all end?
