Angry comic, possibly, yesterday.

A top comedy team is having to rewrite an entire TV series, thanks to the naming names activities of Twitter.

The team - who have taken out a super-injunction to stop us naming them - are burning the midnight oil in an attempt to rewrite and reshoot their six-episode series. It is due to air from next month.

A source inside the BBC and working closely with the team said: "The whole series was based on a legal gag which has been rendered utterly pointless by the activities of Twitter.

"I can't give any clue as to what the gag was about, for obvious reasons.

"However, I can reveal that the team - and the BBC - are totally teed off at Twitter and there may well be legal repercussions."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
