Spoofology, the study of all things spoof related, is a relatively new course being offered to students at Lancaster University, England. The first graduate of this course, Mr. Paul Lowton B.A. (Hons) is said to be delighted with the vast number of opportunities it has given him.

When Mr. Lowton first heard about Spoofology he thought it must have been a hoax - a spoof even. But after his initial doubts, he went for the course and is now glad he did.

"I've already been head-hunted by several companies world-wide." Began Mr. Lowton, "I still need to consider my future. I don't think my full potential has been realised thus-far and am considering staying at Lancaster to study for a Ph.D."

There are currently twenty-seven undergraduate students studying for a degree in Spoofology at Lancaster University. Cambridge and Bangor universities have shown interest in offering the course, however there are a lack of lectures to teach in this field.

Mr. Lowton has told TheSpoof that his ever growing love for the subject may lead him to take up a position offered to him at Cambridge, where he would be appointed Professor of Spoofology.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
