Was someone trying to send a deliberate message by leaving the key in a bag on the tube?

London - (Spy-Who-Bagged-Me News): It's been described as identical to the custom-cut key found inside Gareth Williams' North Face zip-up holdall.

The exact double of the titanium two-inch case opener has suddenly turned up in a bag of theatrical accessories left by someone on the tube in Barking.

An Underground clear-out of last summer's unclaimed luggage saw police pounce on an Armani tote containing the key along with various hairpieces, make-up, hosiery and size 12 stiletto heeled patent leather boots.

MI6 cryptographer Williams was reportedly discovered in a locked holdall with just a curly wig to keep him covered.

Forensic sleuths are now doing their business to see if a match can be found with what's been described as a DNA treasure trove.

That 'Mediterranean-looking' couple sought by the police may well have been Caucasians in heavy disguise...

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
