In Royal News, The Duke Of Edinburgh has dumbfounded doubters and been awarded the Duke Of Edinburgh Award for services above and beyond the call of duty.
The Prince, or Keith as he's known amongst his close circle of friends, is usually best known for his uncanny knack of putting his foot in it, almost always with 'colourful' undertones, has hand built a drop-in centre for underprivileged Asians in the grounds of Buckingham Palace. It's taken nearly 20 years of hard graft, working weekends as well to complete the project.
Speaking from the site, Royal Correspondant Lambchop Opek said,
'It's especially rewarding for Keith, because it shows a side of him that not many people get to see. Even the Queen hasn't seen it. She's as shocked as we are. All this dropping himself in the sh*t and getting into hot water was a smokescreen whilst he completed the project. He loves Foreigners really.'
The Queen herself will present Keith with his own award a week on Wednesday. The final word quite fittingly went to the man himself, when asked how he felt about receiving such an award he replied,
'I'm as happy as a sandboy.'
