Prescott's M4 bus lane, London: In 1999 the lane attracted a measure of notoriety when the Tony Blair's motorcade was spotted using it as the rest of the traffic made rather slower progress in the other two lanes.
It led to accusations that "Prescott Avenue" had become a "Zil lane", also reserved for senior politicians, similar to the old USSR!
The demise of Prescott's "Zil lane" has hit the old politician very hard. Prescott has been 'tweeting' again that this is the end of New Labour;
- "for without the "Zil lane", the old memories of the old USSR are fading into history!
Tont bLIAR has also stated that without the "Zil lane", NuLabour wouldn't have been able to invade Iraq and Afghanistan, such was it's strategic importance in the necessary 'murky' assassinations and dodgey dossiers produced during that period.
