Peter Crouch has today sensationally stated that he both wants to have his cake and eat it.
In a bold move he voiced the thoughts of a thousand footballers admitting that whilst he had a tall, slim, attractive girlfriend/wife at home he still wanted to play a bit of hide the sausage when he was away from home. "To be quite honest," he mused "I'm just sorry I got caught. Now I've got some serious grovelling to do until I can get away with it again. I mean obviously she'll forgive me but I have to at least look as though I'm sorry for a few days."
Ashley Cole backed up his fellow footballer "Crouch's quite right - the most difficult bit is pretending that you'll never, ever do it again, honest promise and all that guff." He laughed.
