Parents and carers were warned today to check their childrens pools after a Great White Shark was found swimming in the paddling pool of a family in Surrey.
Mr and Mrs Findus, said their four year old daughter, Marina, was splashing about in the pool, when they noticed a huge shadow moving around the edge . As they made a grab for Marina, the shark leapt out of the water and lunged toward them. They reported the sighting to the RSPCA, who said; "It must have been dropped by a Seagull".
Supermarket chain, Testicol, sell the paddling pools as part of their family fun range. Regional Manager Dick Moby said; "It is not the first time this has happened, last week a Killer Whale attacked a family in Sutton. We would advise our customers not to splash around so much".
Mr and Mrs Findus said they will be buying a spear gun for Marina just in case the shark comes back.
