Following the Emergency Budget on the 22nd June, the draft Finance Bill 2010 has revealed a startling proposal, which appears to have gone largely undetected until now.
The proposal, seemingly hidden away in the small-print, is that convicted paedophiles would be subject to a higher punitive tax rate of 90% in respect of all income and gains following the date of their conviction.
The Government's official press release states.'The United Kingdom wants to send out a clear message that we do not want these perverts living within our borders. Limited by Human-Rights legislation we have been unable to control the flow of convicted paedophiles, particularly from other EU countries, but we are optimistic that this measure will act as a real deterrant. For those persons who choose to remain in the UK, the additional Revenue will be used to monitor their every movement in order to prevent them re-offending'
Gary Glitter, ex glam-rock star and convicted paedophile, currently living with a friend in Hampshire said on hearing the news 'That's awful, it's going to cost me a fortune, I'm out of here as soon as I can'
Fantastic.....seems to be working already!!
