England fan Julio Pavarotti wandered into the English dressing room wanting a pee after the scoreless draw against Algeria.
Seeing David Beckham he asked: 'How could you miss that open goal, David?'
'But I wasn't playing my friend. But let me introduce you to my pals William and Harry.'
Recognising the two princes, Julio politely asked Harry 'How is your mother?'
'Diana is reigning in another place but if you mean my grandmother, she's as pissed off at England's performance as you are.'
Spotting Mickey Rooney Julio had to demand an explanation as to why England and, he in particular, had been so poor.
'You must be taking the mickey!' snarled Rooney. 'Who do you think you are?'
'I paid a lot of money to come here to support you' replied an irate Julio.
'That's none of my business' Mickey retorted and turned away.
Meanwhile William was chatting with Joe Cole and Matthew Upson. He asked them 'Did you two enjoy playing today?'
Joe, uncertain whether he should point out that he had been left on the bench said sadly 'I've had better days, I must say.'
West Ham defender, Matthew Upson politely asked William if he enjoyed blowing Bubbles.
