Economy will rise if growth matches graph

London - A beaming David Cameron was proud to announce today "The British economy is poised to rebound from it's current dip by a steady rise in the near future."

Using a graph to prove his point Cameron explained "This graph shows a low spot that that could represent the current state of our economy followed by a measurable and steady rise of 15%."

"We see the positive trend in this graph as encouraging news for investors and a sign that the economy is ready to rebound rapidly."

"While I may not be an economist it doesn't take much to see that the British economy could follow the results of this graph if it increases by 15% over the next several years as well."

Cameron elaborated "In layman's terms, this is a good example of the magic of graphs and modern economic theory meeting head-on, reality can match the prediction, it's entirely possible."

"We want the British people to know that they can count on more graphs from the Conservatives going forward."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
