Until recently, the large neo-Georgian cathedral had always been the centre focus of the lovely and tiny city of Harchcaster. That is, until Roy Masterstone, 13, found an amusing entry in the local Thompson telephone directory. Roy, sat at his school-desk, told us of the incident: "It was a rainy day and I was inside playing on my PS2 when my mate Alex came round. He's always up for a bit of hi-jinx and we decided to do some sort of phone prank. Whilst leafing casually through the phone book we came upon an entry for a Betty Swollock. We laughed so hard that we nearly puked all over each other."
The amusing phone call in question came at about 3:45pm in the afternoon, whilst Mrs Swollock was reading the newest Harry Potter book.
"I was shocked," she told us in an interview. "I picked up the phone and all I heard was laughing. In fact, I'm not sure if I didn't hear some puking."
Betty Swollock is rumoured to be considering changing her name to Randy McPoontang.
