A mercy mission, led by the Queen with the Duke of Edinburgh, to take much needed materials to the beleagured enclave of Gaza, has set sail on HMS Britania. Prince Philip quipped to reporters at the dockside: "If the Turks can do it, the Greeks must have their say. We'll show the Yids a thing or two!'
Palace sources were adamant that the Queen was financing the voyage herself and had acquired all the cargo from her own resources. "The Queen is showing her compassion for some of the most needy people in the world" said the Queen's Lady in Waiting.
Israel reiterated their stance on efforts to assist Gaza:"Whether it is the Queen or Noah's Ark we will stop them." Hamas are overjoyed by this fillip to their morale :
"At last someone with sufficient authority, with God's will, is determined to help us."
Prince Charles expressed his grave concern for Her Majesty's well being, but exclaimed "If Israel mistreat my mother and father, they will have me to contend with!"
