"And now a question from a Mr Hess of Munich...."

The BBC is heading for controversy following the announcement that Adolf Hitler is to be a guest on the topical current affairs show Question Time. The Nazi dictator is to appear alongside Winston Churchill, David Lloyd George and Clement Attlee.

There have been allegations that the BBC is simply seeking ratings and that they are disregarding Hitler's theories on race. The BBC denies that this is the case. "Hitler is a democratically elected politician and the National Socialist German Workers Party is a fully fledged party. The fact that they are embarked upon a program of mass murder and human genocide should not detract from these important facts."

A spokesman said "This is just like any other show. The fact that we will be broadcasting live from Nuremburg should not make any difference whatsoever. The BBC maintains its independence at all times. Heil Hitler."

There are those who believe that this is just an example of appeasement and that Nazis should not be shown on national television. However, Churchill said "We believe in freedom of speech and for that I am prepared to slaughter millions of Britons."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
