Hoops mascot, Hoopy the Hound, was arrested yesterday for wearing his new pair of baggy footy shorts in a public place, outside of Celtic Park, at the Sauchiehall Street Centre.
Hoopy was busted by Strathclyde Police for violating a city ordinance governing low-slung baggy shorts which hid an array of watches, rings and diamond studded earrings.
The Hound, who is also facing allegations that he is the true father of Gers mascot Broxi the Bear's son, Boris, could be fined up to £1500 on the pants charge and if DNA tests prove positive a 20 year jail term for dogging bestiality offences.
