London, UK - As the result of a failed cooking show outside parliament featuring chef Jamie Oliver and vegetarian advocate Heather Mills-McCartney, BNP leader Nick Griffin pelted with eggs outside Parliament, having been caught in the crossfire between french cooking connoisseur, militant vegans and right-to-life advocates.
Said Jamie Oliver, "We were expecting there would be a little tension between the french cooking connoisseur contingent and the vegans but then all these american right-to-lifers showed up and things got quite out of control. I think these American's just happened on our little cooking demonstration. They were in a tour bus heading for Windsor Castle. It was all very spontaneous."
Reports that the egg assault was somehow related to BNP leader Nick Griffin's politics and his election to European Parliament on the weekend seem to be unfounded.
Heather Mills-McCartney stated, "..this has nothing to do with that fascist Nick Griffin and everything to do with those fascist American right-to-lifers who can't keep their noses out of anything, even a little cooking show."
Ms. McCartney-Mills was also caught in the volley of eggs. Once the right-to-lifers had dispersed, a group of men, rumoured to be from fathers-4-justice, began to whip her into an omelette; a recipe they had found in one of Jamie Oliver's previously published books.
