In what some are describing as a criminal master stroke, Sir Cliff Richard has admitted to performing as "Susan Boyle" on the infamous edition of Britain's Got Talent.
Sir Cliff said his reason for doing so was purely professional and he wanted to show up the programme for what it really was: nothing more than a Simon Cowell vehicle for fame and notoriety.
The former pop star said he underwent hours of radical makeup and even the odd skin replacement as deemed appropriate by his manager, HRH Prince Charles. Richard said that he learnt to sing like that whilst auditioning for the corresponding role in Les Miserables twenty five years ago.
Needless to say, he didn't succeed.
Now that Sir Cliff has denigrated a hither to popular talent quest, some people may want revenge.
