Some bloke who we think we have seen before, but just can't quite remember has said that Margaret Thatcher's council house sell-off was a 'bit mad'.
The bloke, known only as IDS, claimed that Thatcher had created no-go areas where scummy poor people lived. "This isn't a bad thing. As a Tory I quite like the idea of keeping the poor in one area. But as a modern Conservative who would love a job in any future Conservative government I must pretend to be terribly concerned about the social effects of this policy."
The 1980s saw the political creed known as Thatcherism sweep across Britain. Now leading Conservatives are trying to distance themselves from this era. Strangely, New Labour seek to embrace Thatcherism.
A chap called Wedgewood will also make a speech about Socialism being 'slightly silly'. And John Prescott will be denouncing pies.
