Jade Goody's dying wish is to eat a poppadom, served on a plate by Celebrity Big Brother co-star Shilpa Shetty.
The last wish is the latest last wish of the cancer star who is stubbornly refusing to do what Fleet Street has been predicting for weeks - by clinging to life by the skin of Max Clifford's teeth.
"I want to finally put to rest the notion that I am a racist by eating a poppadom. If it's the last thing I do - which it probably will be, although I have other last wishes I want to try as well."
Tomorrow, Jade is expected to announce another last wish, in which her husband Jack will be described as brave for helping her to sit up, and her sons will have to see their faces under the headlines "YOUR MOTHER IS STILL DYING".
Fleet Street editors raced to Indian takeaways yesterday to buy job lots of poppadoms to deliver with a photographer to Jade's house, in the hope of getting one of many exclusive pictures of Jade eating into the crispy snack.
OK Magazine is offering every reader a free black poppadom, to be eaten in honour of Jade, who the magazine says is dead because it got fed up waiting.
