The sack: Fair comment or not?

UK construction firms have been accused of obtaining personal data about their employees. In a move condemned by trade unions firms have been able to check to see if prospective employees have any union experience. Stan Northener, union executive member and General Secretary of the Society of Hammering Industrial Trades (S.H.I.T) said "We wont stand for this in SHIT. No way."

It is believed that the firms were able to trade in information. Comments such as "He's a fat lazy shit who thinks a shovel is something to lean on", or "Complained about health and safety when an accident killed his mate." have been used to prevent workers from gaining employment, it is claimed.

The case goes beyond the construction industry. Prospective employers have been put off hiring the footballer Bobby Zamora following the allegation that "he couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo". And it is believed that Gordon Broon will find it very hard to work again.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
