Prince William is to become the next King of England.A statement from Buckingham Palace today announced that against normal Royal protocol, the son of the next in line to the Throne would be taking the position when the current head, Her Majesty the Queen, passes away.
After much discussion and voting, it was Wills who conquered in "Strictly Ruling", a 'Royality' version of the popular reality show Strictly Come Dancing.
Votes were cast by members of Royal families throughout Europe and Africa over a six week period, with the dashing William easily the favorite during the whole show. The public at large were unable to see the broadcast as it was being recorded and distributed to Royal subscribers only by Prince Edwards' media company,Regal Enterprises.
Prince Harry was in contention until an evening of drinking at a fancy-dress party ended rather messily. His father, Prince Charles, started strongly but drifted out of the running once his attention seemed to veer towards his beloved flower garden.
Prince William was reported to be very excited and proud of his victory, "One is Royaly chuffed !" he proclaimed.
