Having spent the last 3 months in a Dubai prison after having been convicted of having sex on a beach in Dubai, a pair of thirtysomethings have been flown home this week. The couple who spent their time apart in different wings of the jail are said to be longing to meet up again.
Vince Acors and Michelle Palmer were due to fly back to Britain on the same flight, but Acors was re-arrested on suspicion of stealing sand. Dubai authorities claimed that he was carrying several grains of their beach, hidden under his foreskin, but a full medical inspection proved that he was clean (in fact they couldn't find anything at all). His lawyer, however, claimed the real reason was that the air stewardesses did not feel comfortable with the idea of having him on the aeroplane in case of 'Mile High Club' shenanigans.
Michelle a professional Essex Girl and publishing executive is already working on her book about her exploits called 'True Grit'.
She told In Seine News: "When I meet up with Vince I am planning to write a travel guide called 'Beaches of the World' with his help. Of course, we shall have to experience them for ourselves. However, we shall not be going to Dubai again. I must confess that 5 minutes of pleasure with him was worth spending 3 months in that hellhole!"
She added; "I have had a text message from him today in which he told me he had thought of me every month, every week, every day, every hour, every minute and every second about her and then out of the blue he proposed to me. How Romantical?
"Of course, I shall not be wearing a white dress now that everyone knows. I can't can I? My fiancé thinks I look rather fetching in a sandy-coloured dress!" she giggled.
