MANCHESTER- Prime Minister Gordon Brown has met with Jabba the Hutt in Manchester today to discuss the worldwide financial crisis.
Mr. Hutt, a known philanthropist and shrewd investor, has displayed in interest in helping the world economies with a series of generous loans to ensure liquidity in the banking markets. Mr. Hutt was visiting relatives in Manchester last Friday when Mr. Brown took the opportunity to request a meeting.
The PM is anxious to secure some of these loans for the U.K. since his previous talks with the (late) Tony Montana failed to generate a financial package to help the U.K. Market.
It is understood, as part of the loan terms, Mr. Hutt will be requesting that Ed Miliband is to be held on Mr. Hutts' home planet of Tatooine as collateral. Mr. Miliband was, at press time, being fitted with a Gold Bikini and matching shackles designed by Vivienne Westwood.
After the meeting, Mr. Hutt was whisked off to the Manchester Travelodge for a black tie dinner in his honor, hosted by Cilla Black with entertainment provided by the McFly.
