Media promoted street vandal 'Banksy' has been revealed as being none other than one time kids TV presenter Tony Harte.
'I faked my stroke several years ago to get out of my TV commitments so that I could concentrate on defacing public property and berating Tesco' said 70's weirdo Harte.
Harte went on to explain that 'I discovered that I was short changed by the supermarket giant in 1983 when after buying 100 grams of pimento olives from their deli counter I got home and found there was only 95 grams in the pot - from that moment on I swore to avenge myself upon them for ever more and have done so since by doing what I am best at...vandalising public property with grafitti.'
His 'partner in art' at the time Mr. Benn is co-incidentally Hartes real-life partner and gimp of 47 years and they were married during a civil ceremony earlier this week - however reports are that they have already filed for divorce citing Hartes adultery with 'man of plasticine' Morph.
Benn declined to comment as the ball of his gimp mask does not allow him to speak.
