Katie Price, formerly the hard-faced glamour model Jordan, has hit back at critics after she was tipped to receive the Nobel Prize for Physics instead of Professor Stephen Hawking.
"I don't know what everyone's complaining about" she declared at a press conference yesterday. "That Hawking fella may have written the Theory of Everything but I had the idea ages ago, just ask my Pete".
Her muscley husband Peter, an acclaimed composer whom she met in the Australian bush, said "It's just sour grapes on the part of the physicists as far as I can see. Since she went brunette, Kate and I are always talking about the universe and don't forget, she's a full-time mother too. I couldn't be more proud".
When asked what she'd be doing next Ms Price, who's breasts used to be bigger than they are now, replied that after she got back from a six week holiday in Tenerife she'd be turning her attention to world peace.
