Richard Hammond of Top Gear has announced his intention to crash at high speed again. The diminutive presenter was involved in a near fatal collision after an encounter with a jet powered contraption.
Mr Hammond stated 'It may seem crazy to put my life at risk again and to cause concern to my family and co-presenters, but you have to admit that my career has taken off since my initial crash'
Top Gear has changed in its format over the years. Initially it involved genteel reviews of the new Ford Escort but now has changed into a macho programme showing people how to drive fast with little consideration to other road users.
The programme is targetted at men who have not had it in months.
Mr Clarkson, co-presenter of the show commented, 'It is brave of Hammo to take this decision but, hey, just think about all the books he will sell'.
