Boris admits first and last mistake as Mayor

Funny story written by the blatant beast

Saturday, 3 May 2008

KEN Livingstone could serve a third term as London Mayor after Boris Johnson turned down the job.

Shortly after Mr Johnson's victory was announced last night, the flaxen-haired joker - who proved himself a real political heavyweight - admitted it had been a "mistake" to run for Mayor.

Before the champagne corks had finished popping BoJo surprised tired journalists at City Hall with the punchline they had been waiting for throughout his campaign.

With glass in hand Mr Johnson said:"It wasn't my idea to run for Mayor.

"I don't know whose idea it was. It was probably someone's idea of a joke and I thought yes, why not.

"Boris see, Boris do - sort of thing.

"Anyway, I never thought people in London would actually vote for me.

"I don't want the job. God no.

"Look at Ken - he looks so miserable.

"That's no life for Boris."

When asked about all the Londoners who voted for him Mr Johnson said: "It's a mistake. I am sorry for leading people on."

Mr Livingstone is the favourite to take the job he has done for the last years, following the unexpected turn in events.

But nobody has seen him since the results of the election were announced late last night.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
