Thames barrier cops capture another Scottish wetback in the estuary this weekend

Thames Gateway, England - (Ass Mess): The construction of a new £20 billion Thames Estuary Barrier is being planned "to keep out pesky immigrants" - especially Scottish wetbacks and Sangatte Detention Camp absconders.

Phill Woolarse, the Environment Minister, said today that increasing numbers of asylum-seeking foreigners were gaining entry into the UK by stealth by swimming up the Thames estuary "pretending to be porpoises".

"20 billion quid would be money well spent," Woolarse said.

"Each year we spend that kind of dosh on putting up these illegal entrants, giving them homes, benefit handouts, healthcare and, of course, automatic £££s compensation for violating their human rights by keeping them in French detention camps."

The current Thames Barrier, built in 1983 is unlikely to copy with the current influx of foreign nationals and should be decommissioned by 2030.

"People must accept that there is a real threat and that they don't realise the imminence of it," Woolarse added.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
