London - (Rotters): A global internet pedophile ring of over 700 suspects worldwide has been smashed by British and American investigators.
Initial reports say that cops followed links to Rev Pat Robertson's Protein-Defying Age-Resisting Miracle Pancake-touting 700 Club members' emails which led them to a huge cover-up.
Over 200 suspects were found in the UK and the rest mainly in the Crawford area of Texas.
A number of high-profile White House officials in the Bush Administration were also indentified on the cops' list but their IDs were soon found to have been erased by Justice Department sources that eventually pointed a trail of subterfuge emanating from the office of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.
Investigative authorities said they used surveillance tactics normally used against cattle rustlers,
terrorism suspects and drug traffickers to infiltrate the 700 Club ring at its highest level.
Officials also said that politicians in the United States, Canada and Australia were Britain's main partners in the scam.
"Some of these elderly suspects have been protected by church policies initiated by personal decree of President Ronald Reagan as a favor to the late Pope JP2," a FBI source confirmed today.
"Heads will now roll, believe me."
