The paperboy's union, G.U.N.P.A.M.D, has joined the Rail and Maritime Workers in leaving the Labour Party. The leader of the union, 15 year old Dean Graham made a speech yesterday to the Home Delivery Workers at ‘Scott's News' in Chelmsford while they were waiting for the bloke who drops off the evening news to unload the van.
He said in his speech:
"We have decided to join the RMT in leaving because the Chairman of the local Labour Party has started getting the Sunday Times, which is far too heavy and his letter box isn't nearly big enough".
Other important unions across the country are said to be interested in joining the throng, including 5 workers at the Dulux Toilet Tissue factory.
