London - (Ass Mess): Ex-Royal wannabe Kate Middleton is said to be 'shocked and outraged' that her complimentary tickets to this year's Royal Ascot race meeting have been withdrawn without any explanation except a curt circular email message saying 'All Royal Enclosure Admittances Now Subject to Official Vetting'.
The move follows complaints that last year's Royal Ascot had been seriously dumbed down 'with all manner of trash pervading the Royal Enclosure'.
Prince William's former girlfriend had been expected to keep all the freebies she had accumulated for the year ahead and has already spent a small fortune kitting herself out for the June society event.
But she is now on a list of persona non grata whose bar-coded Royal Ascot tickets will not pass throught the upgraded security system at the Berkshire racecourse.
"This is the last straw," Kate has told pals.
"I've kept my mouth shut and turned down the offers. But I expect the Palace to keep its side of the bargain. That includes access to all the sort of society events that a gal of my expectations can normally get into.
"As far as I am concerned the gloves are now off!"
