Efforts to improve the poll standing of the Prime Minister will enter a "different phase" if diplomatic moves to release the fifteen Navy personnel fail, Tony Blair has said. Tony Blair has promised to leave office soon, but kept his fingers crossed when he said it. He is rumoured to be in talks with brewery giants, Allied Newcastle, over running The Dog and Gun in Nantwich, Cheshire, sooner rather than later if Iran doesn't release the fifteen Navy personnel. Downing Street said the UK could end up with Gordon Brown, or worse, if the Prime Minister's personal rating continues to fall.
Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett, herself a former landlady, has called for Blair's "speedy poll recovery".
Blonde, blue-eyed Kirsty Mondeo (25) told The Spoof: "If the PM's rating don't improve, he'll do an Iraq on Iran, and nobody wants that."
The Spoof has been told that voters like Kirsty, in the primary target 25-40 age group, are being held to ransom. The prime minister's official spokesman said Mr Blair's remarks about a "different phase" did not refer to military action with Iran as that won't work on the voters a second time round. "People are stupid but not that stupid."
