Muriel Brassingthwaite from the Mean Green Coffee Machine cafe in Mithering on the Trent has realised, to no one's great surprise, that come November, Pumpkin Pie is the last thing that anyone wants to eat.
'Everyone told me' said Muriel on her blog 'but when I saw that Pumpkins were on sale in Asda, of course, I bought a load of them and thought I could make them into Pumpkin pie, but no one is buying them.'
Pumpkin Pie has been on the menu at The Mean Green Coffee Machine cafe for three days. Customer Gary Johnson told us:
'Pumpkin Pie in November. I think Muriel is great, but this is one of the worst ideas that I can remember her having for a while'.
