A woman form Manchester could hardly believe her luck today when she scooped a sizeable sum of money by just going to the cashpoint.
Doreen Centipede who is married to multi-millionaire Dan, went to the cashpoint at her bank to get some money out to do some Christmas shopping and ended up with a whole lot more than she bargained for. She told us:
"I went up to the hole in the wall thingy at Nat Westses, keyed in my PIN and requested £100 cash. After a bit of clicking and buzzing the machine gave me the money and that was that.
But just when I was about to go I thought to myself 'I wonder what would happen if I put in my PIN again and asked it for £1,000,000?' So that's what I did and I couldn't believe my luck when all this money came pouring out. A million pounds! Just imagine!"
Amused shoppers looked on as Doreen struggled to keep up with the machine's pay-out bonanza by stuffing the cash into every pocket available.
A delighted Doreen went on to say:
"Normally I'm never lucky with one-armed bandits and that, so this really is fantastic. I'll be able to buy my husband a new car for Christmas and I can't wait to see the look of surprise on his face when he sees it"
