Shamed entertainer and glam rock star Gary Glitter faces new charges at London's Old Bailey today accused of possessing Gary Glitter records and conspiracy to record a new album.
Mr. Glitter, which I suspect may be a stage name, is understood to profusely deny the charges and is expected to plead not guilty. Mr Glitter was first detained in 1997 when Gary Glitter records were found on a laptop he had given in to be repaired at a PC World in Oxfordshire.
Mr Glitter was convicted, however after serving a reduced sentence, spent ten years pratting around in South East Asia, where he was extradited back to the UK after he attempted to commit the heinous crime of cursing the world with a new album.
In his first interview in more than ten years he denied liking Gary Glitter, saying "Call me a paedophile, but how dare you accuse me of liking Gary Glitter?"
Certain British media publications have however been quick to point fingers and accuse Mr Glitter, I'm not looking at anyone in particular, the Daily Mail and The Sun.
