Thou shalt not wear women's clothing, or I'll be cross

Recently, transgender and transvestite (hereafter called trans) individuals have been lambasted by so-called Christian sects in the US as being against God, and yet, proof has emerged that being a cross dresser pre-dates Jesus.

"It's in the old testament," said Biblical Scholar, Gary Lineker. "Deuteronomy 22:5. You can go and check it yourself. It basically prohibits women wearing the attire of men, and men the attire of women. It also says that women shouldn't go to war. However, prohibits a bit of a strong word, as the all loving god merely detests those that do so. He'snot smiting them, like those who have affairs, or fornicate before marriage. Those guys better watch out."

The fact that cross dressing appears in such an early book of the Bible indicates that people have been cross-dressing for so long, it now qualifies as a tradition. And if it's accepted as a tradition, people can't hate traditions, it's just something people do because they always have.

"We should have a holiday," said Courtney Cox, star of the American sit-com Friends, and who used to be Courtney Lawes, a professional rugby player from Northampton. "National cross dress day. It could be fun. They always say you should walk a mile in somebody else's shoes, well these are killing me. How about the second Monday in August - that's quite a dull day."

In the past, it's thought that for men to cross dress, as everybody wore the same clothes, that they shaved off their beards, and gave them to women who wanted to be men.

"We have no evidence for this," said Tony Robinson, the only famous person interested in history we could get hold of. "It's mere speculation. Perhaps women had different belts."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
