London, England. In news slowly ripping, burning and tearing, may be even breaking, Lib-Dems supporters have urged their parliamentarian representatives to introduce a Bill to legalise wilful destruction of prominent public buildings. These "neo-anarchists" are basing their idea on Nazi demonstrations from the 1930s, Maoist behaviour in Communist China in the late 1960s and episode 314 of Dr Who from 1991.
The whole issue of gleefully burning down such public landmarks as Buckingham Palace, Hampton Court and Windsor Castle has left some politicians feeling a tiny bit beside themselves, however, there have been some exceptions: Reg Cornwallis, a House of Commons MP, says that the net effect of this regulation would be to increase the number of vacant land blocks and openly encourage squatters.
One surprise supporter has been the Duke of Chesire who commented, while drinking a glass of vodka and orange, that he wouldn't mind some filthy lay about destroying his centuries old residence as the insurance alone would give him and his family delightful numerous trips abroad (but where would he live?).
The Prime Minister or any of his cabinet were not available for comment however one of the Lib-Dems has been arrested and charged with setting fire to Big Ben.
