Drilling operations to unblock the drains under Somerset have caused colossal geysers to shoot out of Birmingham sewers, the outraged Mayor of Birmingham claimed today. Labour voters in Birmingham watched in disbelief as millions of gallons of posh Somerset water gushed out of Birmingham street drains.
Enterpreneurs were yesterday bottling the water and selling it to shops in Bath as souvenirs of the floods. The largely Conservative voting Somerset residents said yesterday that it was unfortunate that their water had drained away and flooded a lot of Birmingham Chavs out, but pointed out that most of Birmingham was living on handouts even before the posh floods.
