Buckingham Palace

David Cameron has announced that the floods in Britain are the responsibility of the Environment Agency. Further he has asserted that 'The blame lies with the person at the top. It is always the person in charge who should be the one to take responsibility. Lord Smith.'

Eric Prickles is also making a big splash with the floods and has announced 'Give them the money, Barney' to the Somerset farmers who are advocating dredging on a large scale to deepen the rivers.

Lord Smith has said none of it is his fault and the Government are not ditching him. 'If I had been supplied with the funding earlier' he told Spoof exclusively 'we could have dredged earlier.'

Meanwhile UKIP have revised an earlier view that Gay marriage was the cause of the problem and have now maintained that the Government's failure to help the working class was the behind the desperate situation.

As the Thames rises and the waters slowly gather for the immersion of London several Ark builders are getting emergency orders to build 'appropriate vessels' for the Queen and her entourage to sail to Scotland where dry ground should be available.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
