Former holiday destination Morecambe in the far North West of England is back in the running with the entire town becoming the latest Ageworld Theme Town.
Featuring a Euthanasia beach with deadly riptides and quicksand, fleets of mobility scooters, walking frame hire and Victorian Bandstands the "Theme Town" will be the latest in the Ageworld Franchise following the recent Isle of Wight conversion. False teeth hire booths and defibrillators are situated at strategic intervals along the new rainproof promenade.
Old style park benches have been cleaned and situated every few yards. George Formby Jr. a tourism care worker said this morning, "Morecambe has always been an "age friendly" place and the town is lucky to be chosen for this development. People have the mistaken view that it rains all the time here, but in fact it mostly only rains during the day."
