Mount Snowden is to be fenced off for two years in a secure sanctuary while attempts are made to stop it leaking. It will be allowed to remain in its own territory - undisturbed by visitors.
Earlier this year the notorious Welsh mountain started to leak vast amounts of stuff, after hundreds of American tourists climbed the peak and left their mobile phones behind. They then started whistle-blowing and this caused other leaks. Snowden has been leaking stuff all over the place ever since.
The team of plumbers charged with stopping the leaks were reluctant to be interviewed. "It's all very sensitive stuff," they said, "we can't say much. We've never been in an asylum before."
A group of Welsh singers have already penned a new number , entitled 'Snowden in Asylum'. "But this is not unusual," said Tom Jones, "they're all mad buggers around here."
