Rumours that the Bank of England has taken to the Christmas spirit and donated its entire funds to charity are turning out to be partly true.
Robin Hood and his merry men have diverted the Bank's funds to a number of 'good causes' by manipulation of the internet. Hood (19), who recently left prison for dealing in stolen goods in Nottingham is well known to Police.
A curious video of a man hugging Hood has appeared on the internet and is banned in America as 'foul homosexual rape'. But the perpetrators have said the you tube video is simply someone comforting Hood after a recent prison ordeal.
Now, it is thought, Hood is not gay. A maiden named Marion has come forward to claim she is Hood's lover - she is furious with the 'creepy character' that hugged Hood in the wood.
A statement from the Bank of England declared that the outlook for the economy was now rather bleak as none of the Banks on the verge of bankruptcy could be saved, unless charitable funds were made available. Prince Charles has said his Princes Trust will urge the Big Society 'do what it can' to stave off inflationary pressures.
