A firm specialising in Brain Implants has become bankrupt after it was discovered that some implanted Brains were leaking.
Housewife Marjorie Dawes (39) with her two children beside her described how she felt when part of her brain began seeping through her ears. 'I was quite an intelligent person' she said 'but I had always wanted to impress my husband Graham so I decided to get a Brain implant, the only trouble was that the silicone in the transplant lacked the usual brain waves needed to improve my IQ.'
Now, with brain seeping from her nose as well as her ears an unhappy Marjorie is suing the surgeon who carried out the operation which has left her looking stupid as well as being stupid.
It is thought that millions of other Brain Implants could have gone wrong. Experts believe the downward turn in the economy could be due to this unexpected cause.
George Osborne appeared on Television to assure British citizens who had had brain implants that they should not worry. 'Everything will be fine by the next election. We expect an upturn in the economy anytime now.'
